KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Patrol assigned areas and respond to calls for service.
• Investigate crimes, accidents, hazardous conditions, and citizen complaints.
• Make arrests, issue citations, and serve warrants and civil papers.
• Collect and preserve evidence; testify in court.
• Assist motorists, conduct property checks, and provide first aid when needed.
• Maintain equipment, firearms proficiency, and required POST training.
• Prepare accurate reports and document daily activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license (or ability to obtain).
• Georgia POST certification (Basic Mandate) in good standing.
• No felony or domestic related convictions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in stressful situations.
• Pay is dependent upon qualifications.
