









The Heard County Board of Commissioners is now accepting applications from interested citizens for an appointment to the Heard County DFACS Board.
Eligibility Requirements
Effective July 1, 2015, all DFACS Board appointments must be made from one of the following categories:
Applicants must clearly indicate which category they represent on their application.
Application Deadline: May 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. EST

All completed applications received by the deadline will be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for review. Appointments will be made at the next regularly scheduled Board meeting on May 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. EST, unless otherwise determined by the Board. Applicants are encouraged to attend.
