Heard County Now Accepting Applications for Arena Assistant Position

The Heard County Board of Commissioners will be accepting applications for a Full-Time or Part-Time Arena Assistant.

This position involves hands-on work to support the daily operations, setup, and maintenance of the arena. Applicants must be dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Duties include assisting with event setup/teardown, operating basic equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting facility upkeep. The applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and must agree to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Experience in facility operations, event support, or customer service is a plus. Applicants must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform manual labor. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays is required.
