Heard County Now Accepting Applications for Building & Zoning Office Clerk

The Heard County Board Of Commissioners will be accepting applications for the position of Clerk for the Heard County Building & Zoning office.

The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. This position does require good communication skills, strong computer skills, and the ability to read a map. The applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. The applicant must agree to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check. Salary based upon experience; benefits available after 60 days of employment. Applications will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on August 21, 2025.

All applications must be notarized before submission. Applications may be emailed to HR@heardcountyga.com or returned to Katrina Billingsley at the above address.
